Account & Sign-In

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Google account name, email address, and profile picture. Signing in is entirely optional — you can play all puzzles without creating an account.

Gameplay Data

When you are signed in, we store your puzzle progress, solve times, and statistics so your progression syncs across devices. This data is tied to your account and is not shared with third parties.

Purchases

In-app purchases (Pro unlock and token packs) are processed through Google Play Billing. We store a record of your purchase (product ID, purchase token, and timestamp) for verification purposes. We do not have access to your payment method or billing details — Google handles all payment processing.

Automatically Collected Data

We may collect basic usage analytics such as pages visited and puzzle modes played. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or sell your data to advertisers.

How We Use Your Data

• To save and sync your puzzle progress across devices
• To verify in-app purchases and grant entitlements
• To maintain leaderboards and player statistics
• To improve the game and fix bugs

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• Google Play Services — for authentication and purchase verification
• Firebase Hosting — for serving the web application
• Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect our rights

Data Retention

We retain your gameplay data for as long as your account exists. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below and we will remove your data within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

SudokuDB is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure server infrastructure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
